"A beacon when I come to Springfield for work! The service, coffee drinks, baked goods (omg, the turkey pot handpies), conversation and ambience check _all_ the boxes. Love the hours too; help me start my day extra early or get that late afternoon pick-me-up! Parking on the street or in the municipal part of the lot across the street featuring a lit crossing. Love this place!!"

"This place is the BEST. I live in Andover and I drive all the way to springfield just to come to this coffee shop…. I’m a latte girl, and their lattes are perfect EVERY time. Perfect consistency, perfect temp, not overly sweet. Their bagels are amazing too. And I just love the little hangout spot. It’s so cozy and every time I come here it just gets cozier! I love to bring my laptop and do some work… and the girls that work here are very nice."

"Nice seating area overlooking Black River. And a little pop-up library if you're looking to get / give books. FYI: cookies I got & took home. Revolving art displays. FYI: great meeting space can be privately reserved for $50 an hour if you've got 11+ people. Plus food / coffee."

"Feels like I found a hidden treasure! I have a home in Ludlow and it is well worth the drive out to Black River Coffee Bar. The shop is extremely clean, the coffee is smooth and delicious, and the location is beautiful. There is a calming sitting area next to the shop and if you go outside you can enjoy your coffee by the waterfalls. What an amazing spot for a coffee shop. They have gluten free options too for food.
