"I loved my therapist but their zero tolerance no call/no show policy is very grey. I tried to communicate multiple times about appointment times over email and was told that it was my sole responsability to remember our times and there was no obligation for them to send reminders or clarify times. Crissy claims this is an "accountability policy". I feel like when you are working with people with certain mental health issues, you have to be willing to accomodate slightly. I even reccomended an automated system similar to google calenders for reminders but was told it was not the offices responsability and that these polices are to push accountability. I've never had a therapist office unwilling to accomodate. or send simple email reminders. I truely loved my therapist but the "accountability policy" and the unability to be flexible was the reason why I voluntarly terminated."
