"Terry's work is beautiful, and working with her has been delightful. Apart from purchasing a few of her small square tree pieces, which adorn our living room windows, she has created two custom stained glass works for us based on themes we gave her. She was timely and professional, from sending sketches and asking for feedback to the shipping the finished product. Here is a picture of one of them, which hangs in our parents' window in Florida."
"Terry's artwork is absolutely beautiful. Was given a gift certificate and stopped in to her studio for a stained glass tree and left with a tree as well as bike brake rotor with unique glass inserted. If you are looking for a unique piece you should definitely consider stopping in or seeing her art in one of the many vermont artisans galleries."
"Exquisite, unique works of art! We are so thrilled to have found Burlington Community Glass Studio online! Several years ago while on vacation, we acquired a tree with moon stained glass piece which we finally decided to hang in my office. We needed another piece for balance and turned to Google. What luck to find the artist Terry Zigmund and a tree with sun matching piece! It arrived very quickly and in absolutely perfect condition! We were so impressed with the professional packaging and extreme care taken to protect the stained glass in transit."
"Commissioned a custom piece for our office and was BLOWN AWAY at how beautiful it came out. Terry took time discussing the size, color preferences, and style with us and created something that is a center piece in our space and more beautiful than I could ever have imaged. Every time I look at it there is a new detail that pops out. Now I need one for my home... :)"
"Terry's work brings joy to my home and work space. I am a yoga instructor and a chiropractor. I commissioned Terry to create a lotus for my private yoga studio remotely. I trusted her to make choices for me, but she insisted on showing me shades of glass via email. I was surprised at how easy it was to communicate with Terry remotely and participate in the choices that lead to the beautiful lotus that you see below. She was SO RIGHT about the color of the blossom! The glass that creates its form catches the sun differently throughout the day. She told me changes in light would bring the look of several different pieces. It is exactly what I experience in my studio morning to evening. There are times the blossom looks white!!! It really is amazing. The phases of the moon mobile hangs in my chiropractic office. For this piece I personally visited Terry in her Burlington studio. Even though the design of the piece fell outside her typical work, I was thrilled when she confidently said it was something she could create. We worked with measurements, shape and glass color for the moons together. In short-order she had the moon phase mobile ready for pick-up. Joy for me daily with this piece in my window! The picture below does not do the piece justice but it was the best I could do. The mountain piece you see below is in the kitchen window of my home. Mt. Monadnock has become a very special place for my husband and I over the years. To capture our love for the mountain, we commissioned Terry to create a tree landscape with Monadnock's silhouette in the background and a setting sun. No image I could post would capture the detail and beauty of this piece. The textures of the glass bring life to the fields and sky while the ambient lighting of a setting sun is reflected the multi-tonal glass that creates mountain itself."
