Jacob Rusczek, Ph.D.

Jacob Rusczek, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist located at 301 River Street in Montpelier, Vermont. With a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duquesne University, Jacob believes in the importance of understanding human experiences as complex and meaningful. His approach to psychotherapy focuses on exploring the intertwining personal, cultural, and existential meanings that shape individuals' lives.

Having completed his clinical hours at the Norwich University counseling center, a nationally accredited training site, Jacob received extensive training in contemporary psychoanalytic approaches to therapy. He is licensed by the state of Vermont and offers his services at River Street Wellness, where he provides psychoanalytic psychotherapies to his clients.

In addition to his private practice, Jacob is actively involved in teaching psychotherapy approaches at Saint Michael’s College and is a member of the Vermont Association for Psychoanalytic Studies.
