"Excellent work and craftsmanship. You will not be disappointed."
"MergeCrete is capable of beautiful work. Nathan created 3 separate concrete surfaces in our house. The first floor of about 900 square feet is incredibly beautiful and exactly what we asked for. The same with our 2nd floor shared bath, exactly what we asked for. And then there is the master bathroom, where it wall went wrong. Nathan over-poured this floor, which led to him grinding down the concrete to the point that it completely exposed the aggregate. This went against our agreement and looked nothing like the other floors in the house. He did not initially disclose this error to me and essentially tried to cover it up. We should have ripped up the entire floor at the moment and either started over or just installed tile, but this would have been costly and time consuming. Nathan offered a solution with confidence that we would be happy with he results. He offered to apply a skim coat of concrete to cover the aggregate. I agreed and he moved forward. It looked awful and nothing like our other floors. He attempted another skim coat and a different coloring, again looked awful and nothing like our other floors. After many months and many frustrating conversations, it became clear that short of ripping up the floor and destroying the radiant tubing underneath we would have to settle with the unsatisfactory results. Nathan/ Mergecrete asked for $5000 for this particular floor, I offered him $2500. He was outraged by this, but accepted the money and we never spoke again. I reached out to him recently to see if he would be available to rewax our first floor and address the issues we have been having with the Master bath floor that he over poured. The floor is pealing, chipping and separating with the original pour. It looks awful. He of course never responded. Yet another subcontractor who takes no responsibility for the quality of their work!"
