"I have been working at Frog & Toad for just about 9 years now. I have worked at a couple other centers and nothing has come close to the care we provide here at F&T. All of us teachers genuinely love are care about each and every child and family. Frog & Toad brings a sense of family and home. The curriculum we provide nurtures young minds. We encourage our students of all ages to explore and be adventurous. The staff is wonderful and the director and owner work their hardest to make our environment so welcoming. Truly feel so lucky to be able to call Frog & Toad my home away from home."
"My daughter was there for almost 2 years. We only left for a place more convenient to home. My daughter connects with all the teachers so well. She never wants to come. The center is always very clean, welcoming and staff communicates well. We still keep in touch with staff."
"My son who is now 6 years old still talks about how much he enjoyed Frog and Toad in Burlington. His testimony and positive experience are all a parent needs when considering Frog and Toad for his/her child. Erin and her staff run a wonderful childcare and learning center. We are fortunate to have them in the New North End."
"Frog & Toad in Burlington is a very well run center with loving and caring staff. My husband and I were so very lucky to have found this center almost three years ago when our oldest son was around 1 year. We had tried other centers in the area and had the worst luck with them. After visiting Frog & Toad a few times to let our oldest warm up, we just knew this was the place for us! Here we are, two kids later, with both attending Frog & Toad. It's very easy to feel like family and build that community with the other families that also attend. Both of our sons started out in the nursery and still LOVE LOVE LOVE Bethy Poo :) I myself had worked in a daycare center in my younger days and feel like I can tell what good looks like and this place is great! Even when working through behavioral issues with the toddlers, the teachers are caring, patient and always kind. It's nice to know my children are loved and being cared for by some of the best people in the area. Do not trust the miserable review that is full of lies from some angry individual who appears to have his hand out. If you have any questions and want to know more about our experience with Frog & Toad, I'd be more than happy to share."
"THIS PLACE IS SHADY! READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! We called and asked about an open spot for a 4 year old, they said it was open and scheduled a walk through. We went for the walkthrough on a Thursday, and the woman who gave us the tour kept brining up that there was some "extra payment" that we would have to pay. Each time we informed her that we are fully covered by subsidy. Our son was born 3 months early and we both had to stop working to be at the nicu, and he had a ton of appointments we had to juggle when He got out. That's why we are on subsidy right now. Yet she kept saying we would have some out of pocket expense that we had NEVER heard of. My wife has her CDA, and she has worked at many daycare centers and she also has NEVER heard.of this "extra charge". While there, there was a sign on the wall that said, and I quote, "toys break, we get that, but if a toy breaks while your child is playing with it, or misusing it, you will be responsible for paying to replace it" first of all, how would you even know if it was actually your child that broke it, maybe it just broke and they don't want to pay to replace it, so they found another way to get unknown money for stuff they as a childcare center are suppose to provide? My wife has also never heard of that at a childcare center. Anyways, we get a call the next day about "the spot" and we call back and they tell us the spot is now suddenly taken and that if we wanna pretty much pay more than the other parents then we can have the spot. So there are auctioning out spots at their center pretty much! They also couldn't explain to us how much or why we needed to pay this, the only price they gave was a $500 DOLLAR hold fee!!! My daughter gets snack share at her current center and we never had to pay out of pocket for anything there! Well except the normal weekly charge, but since we have had subsidy, we definitely haven't had to pay anything. This place is super shady, so I'd be sure to ask LOTS of questions if you really need to send your child somewhere. If you can send your child elsewhere, I would encourage you to do So! Oh and they also said it's another $300 dollars just to GET ON the waiting list! There is never a charge to be put on a waiting list! You have to pay 300 dollars to someone who won't even be watching your child?! 300 dollars just to wait and see if your child gets in?! I'd advise you spend that 300 to actually have your child watched! The daycare itself wasn't awful, aside from the dirty diaper smell, but this money thing is just a no go for us. We will keep driving our daughter to Williston, at least we know what we are paying for there!"
