"Atrocious customer service! Losing packages, mis delivery to the wrong address, will not answer their phone, they don’t get back to us, even after taking our number and promising that the Postmaster will return our call. Hostile, passive-aggressive approach by the two counter service employees. How can any business entity get away with such disregard for their service and customers!?"
"Decent and clean postal office as it should be. No complaints"
"I was in Stowe on vacation and went to that post office to mail some stuff the way I've been doing for years, most of the times with no issues. (Gettysburg, PA post office is the only other post office that can't figure it out.) Stowe employee said it could not be done the way I requested because it was "too much of a grey area." (What the hell is that?) The gentleman behind the counter in Morristown apologized for Stowe's ineptness. He said the way I requested was a way that could be certainly be done but required a couple of extra steps and that the Stowe worker was just being lazy."
"Almost always spot on service. A little crustiness is good in an efficient post office. But 1. USPS should stop putting up signage that promises stuff (weigh and buy postage for your own packages! nope.) and stamps (classic cars! nope) they do not supply to the branch offices. 2. A friend from out of town asked clerk where he could get a photocopy made of the docs he was mailing. Both clerks said, "I don't know." Answer is: "Walk around the corner to the Morristown Centennial Library. They have a scanner/printer and are very helpful" or "Drive 2 minutes to Kinney's Drugstore in the Plaza. They have a good xerox machine." C'mon, folks! Know the town you work in!"
"MAILBOX THEFT Jessie the manager refuses to take a phone call after loosing mail 3 days ago. I have been picking my mail up after receiving a change of address from someone else's paid mailbox number that they have to dig through and then they could not find the correct form so they just started send my wifes mail to random spots. When asked to speak to the manager jessie said he already talked to someone before and refused to speak to anyone and hide out back. Pathetic and far from professional. Very disappointed they consider him to be manager quailty and that's just to start. Lady with purple hair sorry didn't catch your name with all the rudeness. She has been returning my mail to senders 3 weeks after change of address form which is illegal. Finally admitted it today in front of the manager but you all know how awesome he is so I doubt anything will happen. Just be on the lookout very shady crew."
