Reviews
"Wonderful place to visit! Easy to get lost in the history and significance of the modest house. Frost’s spirit is very much alive here and can be felt while touring the grounds and walking the rooms."
"a lovely place. I've not been inside the museum, but enjoy the grounds very much."
"This is a very nice piece of property, and it's easy to see why Frost would have been enamored with the place. However, the tour is entirely self-guided, which means that information is posted in two rooms that guests can read at their leisure (which took me about fifteen minutes)."
"It was very nice visiting the home of one of my favorite poets. There isn’t a whole lot to see inside, but there are assorted pictures on the walls and newspaper clippings. They have a few books for purchase, and something that tells you he wrote “Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening” after taking a walk in the woods behind this home. There’s a poet trail out back and we followed it. At various points you see another line of the poem with a watercolor picture done by an artist. We really enjoyed it. There’s also a metal statue of him outside near some trees, so don’t miss that. The person sitting inside barely looked up from her computer, so she was no help at all. That’s partly why I gave it 4/5 stars."
"Coming here was a joy. I came during a time were there weren’t lots of other people around and I felt like a pilgrim (of American literature/poetry). This isn’t a flashy museum but you could argue Robert Frost wasn’t a flashy guy, too. I adored this place and the setup and spent maybe two hours there in total. So thankful I was able to go on a lovely May day. My heart was so full from going here."
