"I’m a 100 percent disabled war veteran, and was in a jam. Eric Jewell an extremely honest and professional man came out assessed the situation and installed a new tank and line to my boiler also ensuring I was up and running in the middle of winter. Highly recommend!!! Thank you so much Oil Tank Services of New England!!!"
"Professional and knowledgeable. Helped fix a tough situation quickly. I would use them again and would refer them to a friend."
"I had to comeback home, because my wife called and felt uncomfortable while the workers were here. They came in and started cursing at and badmouthing the job we had for them in front of my wife. She asked them not to speak like that so early, and they questioned why? She then called me and asked me to come home... I would not use people who are going to bring drama to work at my house, good luck to anyone who uses them, hope your experience is better than ours. I actually got there in about 2 minutes but they were up the road and gone, and now their phone listed on google doesnt work. Mistakes happen, but this is unprofessional and uncalled for, maybe get a job where you dont have to talk to people? Merry Christmas, hope one day someone does the same so you know how it feels."
"Oil tanks of NE saved us from a cold end of winter! My oil company decided not to tell me my tank was wearing down until it was "undeliverable" so I was stuck at the beginning of February with no heat whatsoever. After calling around several places and receiving no response, Oil Tanks immediately picked up despite being out of state at the time. They attempted to squeeze us in for a whole new tank and pad barely two days later. Unfortunately snow storms delayed them for another week(totally understandable! they called ahead each time to reschedule) but today they were here promptly at 8am and I had a new tank and a fresh slab installed despite the snow and frozen ground. Barely took 2 hours! Thanks to them I am back with heat and for a fair price. Completely recommend this company."
"When I re-sided my house, the old oil (kerosene) tank was nearly touching the house siding, making removal and replacement of siding impossible without moving the tank, which was nearly 30 years old. I called Oil Tank Services of New England and received a quote for removal and installation of a new tank. I specified additionally that 1) I would like the tank filter replaced and 2) I wanted the new tank and concrete pad placed ~12 inches out from the house siding so any future work could be completed without disturbing the oil tank. I was told this could be done, but removal of the old tank and installation of the new one would be done on two separate days so I could complete the siding installation first. This was fine, as it meant I could complete work on that side of the house unimpeded by an oil tank. The initial removal of the tank went well - the two gentlemen showed up on time and were careful and efficient. I called when the siding was completed. Unfortunately, I had to work on the day when the installation of the new tank was scheduled. When I arrived home, I found that the new tank was placed ~1 inch away from the new siding - almost touching in one corner. In addition, there was no in-line filter placed downstream from the tank - just the line running into the house and then to the heater. I called the next day and explained the situation. I was told they could come back and move the tank / pad and add a filter. I was given a date a few weeks later when these changes could be made. The appointment date came and went and nobody showed up. I called multiple times and left multiple messages asking for a return call, which I did not receive. Eventually, I called from my work phone and received an answer. I explained the situation once again and was told (including expletives) that they "did what they were going to do" and they were not coming back for any reason. I was able to add an in-line filter the following summer myself after the filter in the heater plugged several times during the winter, causing the heater to starve from lack of fuel. This was frustrating but not the end of the world. What was most frustrating was the lack of professionalism I experienced. I hesitate to give a one star review given that the tank and concrete pad were of good quality and the price I was charged was reasonable and consistent with quotes I received from other companies. However, given that only part of the job I specified was performed and the way I was treated when I called to have the rest of the job completed makes me hesitate to recommend this company. You may do well if you need a simple tank replacement but if you need anything beyond that, I would look elsewhere."
