"Don’t understand how this place has a 4.9? Refused to repair my carrier mini split installed in 2017 that was leaking refrigerant since day one and charged me almost $800 just to refill the tank. Literally three months later the refrigerant depleted again hence the leak so there was no purpose I was literally robbed $800. Also ridiculous to charge $800 for 3 lbs of R-410A Refrigerant. Called American Air in Tewksbury who FIXED the leak and AFTER inserted a new batch of R-410A Refrigerant AFTER leak was repaired and now the refrigerant won’t leak ever again thanks to these guys. American Air charged us $3K for everything. This crook took almost a grand from me just to put the damn refrigerant in the tank when he knew there was a leak and was just going to drain out again because he refused to fix the leak and we were in desperate need of refrigerant at the time because our restaurant gets very hot in the summer. The carrier system was leaking refrigerant from day one since improperly installed in 2017 by Don who did business with cool rite. We were defrauded and I can’t file a lawsuit on him because he retired but Cool Rite used to work with him. Don referred us to cool rite and now I can’t sue Don because it’s too late I was naive back when he installed it. The leak was covered up by Don he kept refilling the tank until the warranty was up and we were screwed…we didn’t even know what refrigerant even was at the time. Don won’t answer the phone anymore and last time we spoke told me to call cool rite and this is what cool rite did for us…robbed us $800. The line sets were bad and the reason for the leak due to faulty installation and thanks to American Air got everything replaced INCLUDING the refrigerant for $3K. Cool Rite did not care to examine my system to fix the leak only cared to make a quick buck by charging us almost a grand for refrigeration because he found us desperate to have cold air for the summer knowing very well the refrigerant would drain out again in a few months and the money we paid him would go to complete waste. Nobody charges $800 for 3 lb of R-410A Refrigerant anyways let alone putting it in when you know it will just leak out again and waste our money. If you won’t fix the leak then what’s the point of putting refrigerant in the system knowing it will just leak out again and require us to refill let alone charge almost $800 just to refill the tank???? RIDICULOUS! I would give zero stars if I could. Also non negotiable on any of the pricing and very aggressive. Happy Holidays! Thanks for wasting our money!"
