Reviews of Capitol Theatre
"Love this theatre. Been coming here for movies for a while. Parking around the back. Modest ticket prices, soda is really expensive. But that’s to be expected from any movie theatre. Staff is nice, they checked to see if the lights were too bright and turned them down for us. Very clean, they just replaced the seats and they are very comfortable. Possibly the most comfortable in Vermont. Bathrooms clean. Honestly love coming here!"
"Very dusty. Had to clean the seats as well as the armrests to watch Wish in theater #5."
"Comfortable, easy, and clean. Big screen, and seats that are easy to relax into. Good sound. Super friendly and quick help. Even someone there just to see if I have everything I need."
"First time visitor and I really like this theater. Spotless restrooms and theaters, friendly staff, popcorn actually popped there, and reasonable prices, especially for the matinees. It has a nice retro feel with a pre-DLP projector on display and some cool benches in the hallway. And of course, a great old-time marquee. I'm from way out of town but when I return to visit family, I'll take the opportunity to return here."
"Ticket prices are good ($15 for two), but 2 small bags of m&m's were $11. It was hot out and we thought the theater would be air conditioned; it was not, we were a bit uncomfortable and disappointed. The English film was unnecessarily subtitled, in English, in bright yellow which is VERY distracting and effects the viewers experience of the cinematography. My understanding is that they do this with every film now. I'll probably see movies elsewhere from now on."
