"I have a sign on my porch door asking all couriers to please leave any packages inside the storm door. Everyone from UPS, FedEx & Amazon get it. Not the Post Office. Postal packages are left outside in the elements (rain/snow/sleet.) It would take two extra steps… I have been anxiously awaiting a package which shipped priority mail. I received notice that it was delivered “at or near mailbox.” I went right out to get the package. It’s not there. It’s nowhere. I walked up the street to see if my neighbors got it. They are all at work. A $100 order is just… missing. I used to order art prints. The seller would carefully package them with cardboard backing to prevent accidental folding. A bold “Do Not Bend” is on the package. They are bent in half & shoved in the mailbox. Ruined. Ditto for photographs. I don’t order such things any more bc it’s useless to try to communicate dissatisfaction to them. I get the notice “Sorry we missed you” even though I am right here in the house the whole time. I know they never attempted because the dogs bark when someone comes up the driveway. Because they don’t see a car in the drive, they don’t bother. That means I need to find a ride into town. Please! I’ve lived here 20 years & they don’t know better? I get other people’s mail, including credit card bills. It’s not as if the mail has this address on it. How am I getting mail belonging to others?"
"Have honestly had enough with this post office. Constantly getting other people's mail, some of my mail will go to other addresses or not get delivered, packages will say unable to be delivered half the time. Now I have been waiting for a package all day since it's been out for delivery and I get a notice saying they couldn't deliver it and that CUSTOMER requested it to be held when they never even showed up! Not to mention trying to get ahold of anyone thru customer service is nearly impossible. My mailbox is unobstructed, I live on a main rd, and u can enter my rather good sized driveway with no issues at all. NO EXCUSE"
"The lady that delivers for Windsor Way loves to write up"sorry we missed you" slips WAY before she even leaves your mail instead of delivering packages. I watched her do it while I was standing in my driveway getting ready to leave. That same day I also got an email at 10:21 am saying my other package had tried to be delivered at 12:44pm that same day. Called and was told she couldn't fit it in her 4 door jeep but yet it fit in my little honda accord with 2 kids in my car!"
"Here’s a list for Center Barnstead: 1. Website time of service didn’t display the correct time 2. Was told a package was going to ship at a high cost, more than I had calculated - went back home to ask my customer if he wanted to pay that much, he said yes - went back to the PO and she calculated at my original calculations, so I sent it then had to issue the difference in cost to my customer (waist of my time) 3. They left earlier than they should have 4. Just sent 2 packages, it took 3 days for them to send them out. I’ve got more, but I’m tired of typing. Delivery person is good though, she’ll even make a special effort to get you your package."
"Zero communication from this Post Office. My wife and I are new home owners and after the recent snow storm we haven’t been getting any mail for the last 4 days. Come to find out we have been a “snow hold” till further notice until we remove the small amount of snow in front our mail box. Our delivery person nor anyone left a note, tag with explanation, nothing. The Post Office merely assumes you’ll eventually call asking."
