"I’ve used this boarding facility several times now and we’ve always had a great experience. My doggos come home tired and dirty from running and playing. Im grateful for being able to go on vacation and not worry."
"I would never EVER RECOMMEND THIS SO CALLED DOG BOARDING/kennel. The minute we met this lady all she did was complain about everything to do with this job. I thought well maybe she is Overwhelmed and was having a bad day. Boy was I wrong. We sent our poor dogs there and she called us 2 days before pick up saying our senior dog had diarrhea and we needed to come get them because she couldn't handle them anymore. Then tried to charge us extra for the poop clean up. When this charge was never discussed during booking.. she wasn't feeding her the right food. She was getting my german shepherd puppy's food which is high In Protein. She also neglected to feed them the amount we instructed because she has never split up meals that way.We were 18hrs away at the time of her requesting us to come get them. We canceled the rest of our trip and drove home through the night to get our dogs. When we arrived they were outside in the rain still covered in dog feces. Our senior dog has a infected elbow from sleeping on concrete because there beds were covered in dog feces and hanging outside from the day before. My german shepherd puppy has his nose all torn up from being left in a kennel all the time. He has also lost a ton of weight. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the condition they were in. We have boarded our dogs in other places and have never picked them up in this condition. My senior dog is sick and has a vet visit on Monday.."
"I have been boarding my beloved dogs at Beaver Creek for 8 years. I cannot praise them enough. Not only do the dogs get loving, professional care, the facility is top notch (clean, air conditioned, indoor and outdoor play areas, etc.) Unlike many other facilities, the dogs, weather permitting, get lots of outdoor time, and supervised playtime with other dogs. The prices are quite reasonable, the dogs love their time there (in fact, I cannot mention the owner's name to them without them getting very excited), and I have always received warm, friendly service. They go "above and beyond" at all times. It is so nice to be able to go away and not worry about my sweeties. I cannot recommend Beaver Creek enough. They are true professionals."
"Sadly we had a bad experience here. Heather was rude on multiple occasions. When I asked the dimensions of the kennels over the phone, she laughed and acted insulted I asked. Completely normal for pet owners to be curious about this! We gave her the benefit of the doubt and decided to board our dogs anyway. When our family member went to pick up our two dogs, Heather made rude and insulting comments about us and our pets. We have a 2 year old golden doodle and a 6 month old Bernese mountain dog. She said she liked our doodle and he was great, but said our puppy was horrible. This was the puppy’s first time being away from us and his first time in a kennel. He had a few accidents in the kennel, one of which was on his bed which she cleaned with a hose and said, “I hosed it off, but it’s still dirty and needs to be washed. The bed needed a good cleaning anyway.” She also stated that the puppy shouldn’t be having accidents at 6 months old (which he doesn’t at home but in a new, high-stress environment, such as a kennel, it’s plausible that a stressed dog may have an accident!) Heather expressed how much of an inconvenience it was for her to separate the dogs while eating and how she was happy when she realized she only had our Bernese for one day.. COMPLETELY unacceptable and unprofessional to say to clients!!! If she’s speaking like this to CUSTOMERS just imagine what she’s doing/saying to your PETS when she’s annoyed with them! We do have to say that when we dropped off our pets, Gary was extremely kind and helpful. He gave us a tour of the place and was nothing but nice. His customer service and kindness will be missed by us and it’s unfortunate his wife couldn’t treat clients the same. We heard that covid was hard on her business and we are all for supporting local, it’s sad that you’d treat your clients that way though. If Heather would’ve respectfully explained the issues we would’ve been empathetic and understanding. I’d rather pay double to have our pets boarded elsewhere and have kind customer service. Sadly we won’t be bringing our dogs here again."
