"We have two dashounds that are very spoiled and do not like to be away from us. We recently moved into the area and Ellen and her team at Darling Farms came highly recommended. We needed to board our dogs for several days over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays this year. The later was on very short notice due to a death in our family. Ellen and team couldn’t have been more flexible and accommodating. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our dogs stay both times. As Ellen said - they had a blast. They played with other smaller dogs during their stay which was so nice. Most places from our experience just cage dogs for the most part of their stay. When we picked them up both dogs were calm and happy - not anxious or agitated. In fact they were off leash following Ellen down the deck stairs to meet us and with a gaggle of other small dogs wagging their tails in attention. We were completely blown away. And the second time we dropped them off for their stay- they ran into the house at the Farm- without hesitation!!! We don’t normally post reviews on anything but loving our dogs so much and finding Ellen and her staff at Darlling Farms so great we felt we needed to share our findings to other dog owners similar to ourselves that find boarding a challenge. She also does large dogs as well and has marvelous open fenced in areas outdoors for the dogs to play. As one person said to us- who recommended Ellen-when we questioned him “ Taking care of your dogs - this is what she does”. Amen!"
