O'Connor's Resort Cottages 3454 Lake Shore Drive, Lake George, NY 12845

"Wonderful experience! All you need!! No need to leave the resort. So clean loved it. So much activities for the family. Fire pit was awesome at night. Crowd was delightful, all respectful. Cabin was very spacious, beautiful deck. Forget wifi! Enjoy the wooded area and spectacular view. Nearby grocery store is a huge hit. Irene is a gem. Definitely will be back with the family."

"Pros: --Very nice woody location with large access to water --good size well equipped cabins. --lot of activities for kids (playground, pingpong table, mini golf, kayaking, etc.) Cons: -- outdated, both cabins and grounds needs upgrading and more frequent maintenance. -- stupid rules, fire pit can only be used on certain days while staff is present to maintain it. You are not allowed to have glass containers on the grounds. We were reprimanded when small kids digged out small hole on the sandy beach area. (as if the beach didn't get raked every day) --the access to the lake is mostly weeds and sharp rocks, wet shoes of some sort are a must if you're going into the water (would be nice if they told you that on their site.) --rediculous incline on access to resort, make sure the brakes and transmission in your car are behaving. --very poor wifi. --very uncomfortable beds, i recommend bringing your own mattress topper or something."

"Overall, this hotel was fantastic. It was a great time. The firepit was great, plenty of rowboats, kayaks, etc., it was just a few minutes from the village, and more. A few things with the room though. We got one of the cabins, and there was a single air conditioner in the main room. Even with this on all day it was not able to cool the two bedrooms. Therefore, it was warm overnight and we had to keep the doors open. The internet was also almost unusably slow... in our room at least. As we walked around, I noticed some spots had much better connection. Either way, the cabin was great, and we rarely remembered these things with the fun we had out at the lake. Awesome time and place."

"The owner & staff are super friendly & very accommodating!! The cottage was very clean & dishes were shrink wrapped. It was very peaceful there & many things to do! The views were spectacular!! Will definitely stay there again whenever we make it back to Lake George!"

"The staff treat you like family here. They're accommodating and super friendly. The grounds are well kept, the cabins are clean, and the views from the beach are exceptional. My family really enjoyed the kayaks and John boat they offer for free. Fishing from their docks is also a lot of fun. Tons of bites."
