"Though I enjoyed my time on this trip, the resort itself needs a massive upgrade. Upon arrival, the room was not yet ready. We had called the hotel five times prior to arrival to find out check in times to avoid this waiting period, however there was never a response. We were given a specific time that we could begin to use the room & the room was still not ready for us. Hospitality staff quickly made adjustments to the clean the room once noticing we had been waiting a significant time. The showers were so tiny you could hardly move to wash your hair. The location was beautiful on the water, however they should add some tiki torches or fire pits to encourage guests to take advantage of the outdoor amenities. There was no staff there after a certain point & there was no one to contact when we needed towels. Unfortunately we were unable to get clean towels to use for our shower. We were not provided with any information regarding breakfast and/or how to rent kayaks. Overall, the establishment has so much potential if upgraded properly."
"Breakfast was terrible. Small bathroom. I was left 2 towels with 3 people in the room and had to use a washcloth to dry off. Called front desk no answer. Office never asked how my stay was she was too busy on the phone. Will not stay again."
"Our stay at Still Bay was a great experience! The staff (Lilly and Jackie) were very friendly and helpful in finding a room on short notice, going out of their way to accommodate us. The resort itself had a beautiful view of Lake George and the private beach/boat house, but was still close enough to the Village to balance privacy and convenience. Rooms were very clean and upscale, shower-heads had high water pressure (good measure of any hotel), and little things like available boat rentals, complimentary full breakfast, and in-room massages all contributed to give this place a true resort feel. Will definitely recommend and return!"
"We've been there for 2 night and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the divine quiet, as the name suggests. The staff is very helpful and nice, either at the reception or at the dining room. The only boat you can rent (although it's for free) is a small pedal boat, not a big fun. We also had some issues with the Wi-Fi, but most of the time it was great."
"I stayed here for a night during Americade 2010. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating to our group. Breakfast is included and excellent, varying from day to day. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the lake. The shower was somewhat small, but I'm a big guy so I'm used to that. The boathouse and the location right on the lake really make this a worthwhile stay as the rates that they charge are on par with the rest of the area, for a considerably higher quality stay than on the main strip during this event. (Lot of people on Harleys like to blast their pipes on Rt 9. Fret not, you can scarcely hear them from this location.) All in all, I'd highly recommend staying here for Americade or at any other time of the year."
