"Very friendly service. They literally left the light on for us as we came in late! They even called to check in and give directions to our cabin. Shower was tiny but everything was very clean."

"Amber Lantern is a very relaxing, wooded retreat in Diamond Point, NY. Great location. It is just far enough away from Lake George Village to feel like a mountain vacation but is less then 10 minutes from the Village by car or trolley. Bolton Landing is about 7 minutes North. The cabins are extremely clean and well furnished. The bedding and towels are like new and the beds are very comfortable. A pool is available but I did not try it out but many families were enjoying themselves in it during my stay. Barbecue grills are provided throughout the property and the fire pit at the north end is very inviting and enjoyable. I stayed by myself for 3 days and then was joined by my friends for an additional 5 days. Everyone agreed it was a great place to book for next year."
