The Cadillac Motel

"Someone I know is/was staying in one of the rooms bc they are homeless and they were put up by the state bc they on SSI and in their 50's.they tried renewing their room, and the owner won't renew it and apparently doesn't need to give a reason, so hopefully now they can get another room somewhere, I don't understand why someone would put someone out on the street in this freezing weather right now, it's like 15 degrees out .... SMH"

"The crazy thing is I've only been here for 3 days and Almost every review for this hotel is negative and now I know why the thing is I understand that I'm homeless but even though I'm homeless the only issues I've had at other motels are the employees being disrespectful but issues here are 10 times worse. first many motels make it so that the rooms can be cleaned in a safe way without anyone having to come in contact with anyone else but at this motel you have to clean your room yourself. even at rundown 1-star hotels I have never been somewhere where you had to clean the room yourself that is messed up especially since right now most of the people here are homeless with no place to go &they say in case of emergency to call a certain  number and they even list a back up number and neither one of them are answered please if you have a lot of power in the state of Vermont please help us homeless people at this Motel please i have a lot more to say about this place But what I've said should be enough"

"My wife and I booked the honeymoon suite this past weekend. We don’t get to get away just the 2 of us so we were very excited. I can’t even begin to tell you how disappointed we were. The heart shape tub was spitting out cold water so we had to get out. There was so much noise we didn’t get any sleep , nor did we feel safe. The door looked like anyone could pick out lock so we didn’t even dare to leave our room. We left the next morning and talked to the secretary who was very sympathetic for us. The room was very clean when we checked in , however our room had a needle box in the bathroom which we found very odd. Very very disappointed in our weekend get away. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The person who helped me over the phone was so extremely helpful and so kind. She sent me emails with directions in case of us checking in very late and I thought she was really helpful and very sweet. She also told me over the phone about how to get my key and what not. Everyone should know that we're in Vermont, your not going to get the Hilton unless you reserve the overpriced place. So all in all we liked it alot and would def recommend staying here."

"Room was small but very clean. The night stay was great until we took a shower in the morning, took forever to get hot water, in the meantime the shower filled up with freezing cold water and wouldn't drain. The sink wouldn't drain either, then we stayed on a Saturday night and apparently the staff leaves at 8p.m. and they are closed on Sunday. So you can't get a hold of anyone and you leave your key in locked box. This place was over priced in my opinion, a 97 dollar room only worth 60."
