"Our experience as a family was devastating! “Developing a successful plan for living after the completion of the program is the goal for all Residents.” FALSE-THERE WAS NO ONE WHO DISPLAYED ANY INTEREST OR FOLLOW THROUGH IN IMPLEMENTING ANY PLAN WHILE THERE OR AFTER. I would never recommend Path at Stone Summit to anyone!"
"one of the worst experiences of my life honestly, ironically taking place in stunning environs. overall led to a considerable regression in my mental health and I emphatically wish I never partook"
"Was a resident here in 2022. Came to path without much idea of my future with lots of mental health trauma and lack of interpersonal skills. The therapy offered helped me through a dark time In my life. The supportive and close-knit nature of the community also allowed me to discover new things about myself and how I express myself. I ended up getting well and completed an EMT course with the support of my treatment team and moved forward back into college life. Although at times unstructured it allows to reintegrate one's self into life."
"people were kind of racist when i was there, but overall this was the best psychodynamic treatment environment i could ever get in the world. pets were allowed and that is unique in a psych treatment setting. my time there helped cure some of my deepest childhood trauma, and i got to better understand what healthy family dynamics would look like. note that this program is pretty expensive, but the directors tries really hard to help make it cheaper for you on an individual basis. also there is only a small number of residents so it's a close-knit community, and the interpersonal relationship patterns there are unnatural - for example, you get to have a personal conflict, and you talk about it openly in group therapy. everything you said or did could be examined under a magnifier. but yeah, overall this place is worth it. i wouldn't have been alive this long if not for this place. here you're sometimes safe to regress to a baby in a controlled environment, before you are released back into the harsh world outside. "
"No feedback given from the psychiatrist or counselor at discharge time regarding my family member being discharged. None At ALL. No family counseling session took place. To the people who are managing this place: you're doing nothing special here. You have absolutely nothing to be proud of. Such a complete disappointment. I am the one who had to set up the aftercare plan and basically all the counselor wanted was a date and time of the appointment. No suggestions on any type of recommended testing, no feedback on possible diagnosis, no recommendations for outpatient after care. Just see ya later, thanks for the insurance money. What a total joke. The doctor and counselor did nothing. Nothing. The counselor my daughter had was lazy and totally disinterested. Do not send your loved one to PATH."
