"If you are considering seeing a therapist, even if you don't think it will help, I would HIGHLY encourage you to make an appointment with Paula at C3 counseling. I met Paula before she opened a private practice for assistance with my then 7 year old daughter. Counseling for my daughter turned into family counseling after a marriage as we were all trying to find out new roles within the family. I went to see Paula again for personal counseling. I am now seeing Paula for marriage counseling. Paula does not tell you what to do, she does not judge nor place blame, and she doesn't just sit there listening while you talk. It is a conversation, often it feels like I'm out to coffee after a long week catching up with a friend. When I leave after our meeting I have a goal, or a path for the week that I can work on. This is what I believe creates progress. Sometimes I feel she learns from me the same as I learn from her. Different points of view, and ways of seeing the world.
