Middlebury Chiropractic Office | Neuropathy | Weight Loss | Knee Pain | Nerve Pain

"Dr. Curt (sp??) seems very knowledgeable and good at his job. He has helped me immensely in my postpartum recovery and i have chosen to return several times. The receptionist is kind and personable and scheduling is easy and flexible. Whether i am here "for the long haul" remains to be seen. Some reviews suggest that he is "unprofessional" and I would say that word could be misinterpreted. He is well educated, well dressed, and very respectful. He is friendly and will talk about baseball and work out programs but I dont find that unprofessional. The office in general is where I start to agree a bit with the comments. Basically the general vibe is a little dingy and rundown. He lives above the office so i imagine he is just blind to what other people could find jarring in a "professional" setting. He has a dog in the office almost at all times, and, while many people may not have a problem with this as the dog IS well behaved, not everyone is a dog lover. I personally find the dog hair everywhere a bit repulsive and the dog DOES approach you and sniff you even if it doesn't jump, bark, or lick. The actual tables are really good ones but you can tell they are quite old and beat up. Can give the impression of being a bit dirty and like maybe you don't want to lay down on it. There are lots of piles of clutter laying around, random motivational magazine cutouts in cheap frames and vases of fake flowers complete the ambiance. But if you like dogs and "Far Side" comics you will probably really like this chiropractic experience. One last comment on the actual care here. I had a chiropractor in Idaho whose visits included some muscle work as well and i cant even tell you how much i miss that. It feels a bit like an incomplete visit without any sort of "warm up" or "cool down" to make the ajustment more effective and longer lasting. Despite my personal hangups, i DO think Dr. Curt is a good chiropractor and i would reccomend him to others... with just these few "FYI" caviats."
