Reviews of North Country Primary Care Barton Orleans
"The staff are very rude and unprofessional. The problem is that majority of staff are the result of the Obama era, when everyone wanted to enter the medical field thinking they would make bank off the socialized medical care known as Obamacare. A bunch of people in it for the money, not because they are passionate about their jobs. I understand you deal with the public, which is trying of one's patience, but to snap at people and be unwilling to allow a person to fully answer a question with regards to medical history is just a joke. I've already written a letter to the Governor about their practices, some of which are totally illegal."
"I have been satisfied up until recently with the medical care. In March I was assigned the new physician that came aboard fulltime and I am not happy at all with the medical care there. I was in this Spring for an appointment and before I left the physician had me hooked up on an EKG Machine. So my issue with that is that I don't have any history of heart issues and my appointment was for something entirely different. Surprise , surprise the EKG results came back all good. This physician recently had me get blood work done, no major issues found but wants me to do a follow up in three months having the same blood work done again. Really questioning if this is a tactic to bring in $$$$$$."
"Very terrible clinic I highly recommend you find somewhere else to get treated. The nurses and doctors here are a joke. Phone calls are rarely returned. There has been days where I've called and and called with no answer. If they do answer their tone is absolutely rude and demeaning. Out of the times I've actually spoken to a nurse a handful of times I was treated with respect and listened to from the ordinary "yup we'll call you back" or "yup we'll get this to the doctor now, they're free and are able to look at it now". Sitting waiting for the doctor in the examination room a common theme I've noticed is nurses laugh and making jokes regarding a patients age, weight, mental health problems along with other uncalled for remarks. They've broken many HIPPA laws and violations with more broken every passing day. Constantly trying to change your appointment either the date or times. This is done on such short notice most of the time, I personally have gotten a call with a change of appointment time 30 minutes before having to be in their office. The one thing that does not sit well with me has to be a doctor insisting I take more of a prescription then what the bottle says. This type of behavior shouldn't exist in their line of work. Overall I would avoid North Country Primary Care Barton Orleans and find a doctor elsewhere."
"Some Dr's need to learn & understand patient/Dr CONFIDENTIALITY...... ALL Dr's need to realize that just because they may know a patient's "family" DOES NOT" MEAN that patient is anything like their family & should NEVER BE JUDGED by what others have done, when it comes to needing medication!!!"
"Since Christie Aldrich, NP retired and they changed their system it's been one issue after another. I can no longer see my full patient records on the portal, I never know who I'm going to see, and they keep changing my appointments. The follow up and follow through by the nurses has also declined. I'm not pleased."
