Sweet Clover Nursery

Sweet Clover Nursery, located at 155 Northfield Street in Montpelier, Vermont, is a part of Orchard Valley Waldorf School. This independent day school offers a nurturing environment for children from early childhood through middle school grades. The school follows the Waldorf education philosophy, focusing on reverence, love, and freedom in educating children.

At Sweet Clover Nursery, children from birth to 3 years old are welcomed with open arms. The school also offers a Mixed Age Kindergarten program for children aged 3-6, as well as Elementary & Middle Grades 1-8. What sets Waldorf Education apart is its holistic approach to learning, incorporating arts, music, movement, and nature into the curriculum.

Orchard Valley Waldorf School was founded by a group of families dedicated to bringing Waldorf education to central Vermont. The school community continues to thrive and grow, thanks to the support of its contributors.

Recently, the lower grades had the pleasure of welcoming Michael Laughing Fox Charette to campus. Michael shared indigenous stories and music with the children, emphasizing the connections that unite us all. This special event was made possible by Scrag Mountain Music and Evan Premo on the Double Bass.
