Reviews of Sweethearts and Heroes
"The Sweethearts & Heroes training on implementing Circles was a wonderful PD that was time well spent. Often in PD sessions you learn a lot information but not really how to implement it in your classroom. I am happy to say that I left the training with a clear vision of how to facilitate circles. Sweethearts & Heroes has been so well-received by our students and I know the Circles will only continue to grow their mission."
"Rick and Tom were excellent. They energized our students to see not only the need to be sweetheart and heroes, but to be a difference maker in others' lives. This program offers a kid-friendly way to teach tolerance, empathy, and compassion to one another. The circle time is a game changer as it provides an opportunity for students to see others' perspective and vulnerability."
"Sweethearts and Heroes came into our kindergarten to 2nd grade school last week in Monticello, New York. It was amazing to see how much kindness the students were able to show Mr. Rick and Mr. Incredible. The show was age appropriate and covered the topic of bullying and friendships with strategies students can use on their own. Students and staff were so engaged by the entire performance. Thank you so much for your strength and bravery to share your story and life long lessons with others!!"
"MIldred E. Strang MS had the pleasure of hosting the Sweethearts and Heroes presentation. Our students were engaged from the beginning to the end! The message of H.O.P.E. and the practical strategies for helping others being bullied will become an integral part of our character education program. Thank you for your thought provoking and uplifting presentation. Staff and students have said this was one of the best assemblies they attended."
"I am part of a Marine Corps unit that recently had some unexpected deaths. When I was initially presented with the idea of having any presenters come out, we were a bit hesitant. It was a very emotional time for us. I am beyond thankful that we had Sweethearts and Heroes come out though! Tom and Rick did an amazing job connecting to each individual. The impact that they have made with our Marines will last for a long time to come. This organization is the best fit for any school, military unit or business out there! I strongly recommend experiencing what they bring to the table! I personally cannot wait for them to come back out again! Thank you Sweethearts and Heroes!"
