"I got referred here due to having a mass on my urethra, excited that *finally* I'd get some help with my issue. My appointment was back in November, everyone was nice and respectful and my visit went well and the Dr I had seen was very helpful and explained everything to me that I needed to know, that part I commend this office for. She had explained that before we can do anything about it, I needed to get an MRI so she could accurately diagnose the issue. We discussed the cost and I had asked if I could get a price of how much it would be through my insurance before we go ahead and send the order and she said that she could. About two weeks later I called back asking why I have not heard anything and the gentleman I spoke with put a note on my file. Around two weeks more I still haven't heard anything so I call again and the gentleman just puts in the order himself and explains that my insurance will need a PA and that they'll work on it ASAP. Funny thing is that PA did not get worked on until the beginning of January despite me regularly calling and asking for it to be done. Mind you, I work in a healthcare setting and I am well aware that PA's do not take this long. Multiple times I had been told I would be getting a call back and confirmed my phone number with them to receive no such calls, and one time I had called I was told the PA was done just to find out that it, infact, was not done and my insurance had required additional information. The PA only was completed after I had asked to speak with the person in charge and told her about about the problems I was having. Patients shouldn't have to pester a healthcare office as much as I had to for them to do their job. Even if the whole issue was due to the cyber attack that occurred in EARLY 2020 (which I sincerely doubt) that does not excuse the lack of explanation and lack of following through with what was promised that had occurred. The cherry on top of this drawn out process is that today I had received a bill in the mail for over $200 for my initial visit that wasn't run through my insurance because they claim to have "no insurance on file" for me--which is ridiculous because if they had no insurance on file for me they wouldn't have to get a PA done to send an order for an MRI for me. Suffice to say they will be getting a stern phone call about that tomorrow. I cannot wait to be done with all this needlessly drawn out and stressful ordeal and finally get my health problem taken care of. I've been very disappointed by this experience. TLDR of this review: The Doctor I had seen was very helpful but my experience with this office had been severely soured by how hard the office dropped the ball on getting an MRI order and PA done. Due to this, I'd recommend going elsewhere if possible."
