"So I’ve been seeing Dr Sadkin for 25 years. 15 years ago I had a friend commit fraud and take out several cell phones in my name and purchased merchandise with my credit card. She is now a receptionist. They pretty much said too bad. *** went back to Toby Sadkin asking for a psych referral. Got nothing. Talked to that receptionist on arrival, vitreal dripping from her. Rushed me into the exam room while I sat and listened to Sadkin and P talk outside the door, “Don’t worry we know you’re not the same person, hahahaha” that is fine but when I am a person with Depression and anxiety, I sat shaking and crying and then put up with her condescending manner in which she pretended it was all me and can’t imagine why I feel like I do. I was told by another staff member that they could not refer me to a psychologist or someone who really knows how to treat me. Wow will never recommend again. Apparently this office does not know how to treat a brain truly clueless."
"I am really grateful to be a patient here. I see nurse practitioner Sarah Owen and she is an incredible listener! I jumped around a few practices before I found St. Albans Primary Care. I left another practice who scared me half to death after misinterpreting thyroid test results. I found NP Owen bc I needed a second opinion. She was warm, kind, thoughtful, and listened to my concerns. She really took the time to explain things to me and also took my mental health over my scare incredibly seriously. I am also a sober person and I find NP Owen to be well versed and capable when it comes to addiction & recovery topics. If you have been in my shoes, you know how incredibly valuable this is. As with ALL medical practices in the state of Vermont right now, this place is busy and likely overflowing with people in need of care. That being said, they have communicated with me and my pharmacy very promptly (aways on the same day) over the phone, even when I know they are slammed. Reception is busy but welcoming and kind. The medical assisting staff are thorough, supportive, and real. I’ve had terrible experiences with NPs & MDs in Franklin county and I’m grateful to have found this place!"
"Instead of just checking the "Ok I am fine" box, they checked I am ok, but I need an annual review from the DMV to keep my driver's license. I am safe to drive, no issues, and I am up to date with my care. Next renewal, I will make sure and do it differently, and if they ever fail me I will get a lawyer. Thanks Doctor, this is how I get treated after you making thousands of dollars from my insurance over the years. I haven't even seen my Doctor in years, she pawns me off onto her NP."
"Up until recently I was a patient for around 2 years. It was very difficult to get anyone on the phone to schedule appointments or ask questions. Whenever I had an appointment it always felt rushed and my concerns were essentially ignored or pushed aside. The final straw for me was getting a bill over 4 months after an appointment with only 10 days to pay it before it was late. I will never return to this office and have found a much better primary care option."
"Saint Albans Primary Care never answers their phones. There has not been one single time where myself or my wife have called and ACTUALLY been able to speak to someone. We always have to leave a voicemail and they’ll get back you us a day or two later. Seems as though they like to take care of you when it’s convenient for them. My wife has called twice in the last two weeks and she has yet to hear back from them. Not a phone call, email, nothing. Unfortunately because I have TriCare I am very limited on who I can use for my primary, if it wasn’t for that I would NOT be with them."
