"I went to class during the summer of 2022, I took a lot of optatives including my favorite: Writing with the amazing actor and writer David Dean Bottrell, I enrolled myself in Acting for Film and Television and Musical Theater, I loved both programs, my professors, my classes and my classmates. The only thing that I would recommend is to relax a bit with all the covid restrictions, we have to move on and get going, also we are actors we need to see our eyes and faces :). Another observation: at the time I was 30 and I was one of the oldest, the average age of people going to AADA is early 20's, except for the acting for film and television program, everyone was a bit more and around my age. I love the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts, it's an historic building, an historic Academy, great location, great neighborhood, it was an honor and an a dream for me going there. I'm very grateful for the experience. Shot out to: Nurit Monacelli a great human being, actress and teacher and to my professor and music director Christopher Mcgovern with whom all my singing for the actor classes were like an episode of glee."
"Started attending this school 3 weeks ago they really know how to kick you into shape as an actor. We're broken down physically, mentally, and emotionally. Then molded into the future artist in the industry!!!"
"Went to a month long summer program which involved taking classes and meeting the students. I honestly was not very impressed. The classes were literally the same as the ones I had been taking at my community college, with the only difference being the much higher price tag for the Academy. Most of the full time students were all very pretentious, many acting as though they were already famous, particularly the girls. The only professor I really liked was the guy who ran the improv class, the others weren't anything special."
"I studied there for eight years—middle and high school. It was a remarkable experience and I will always think back on those times with a lot of warmth. The program was top notch and the instructors were better than the ones even in college."
"I love going to the shows here. There is so much talent and enthusiasm :-)"
