"This would be a great place to live if the crab of a woman who runs the place would stop making up rules as she goes. She’s tightly wound and is not pleasurable to deal with. This goes for the tenants as well. They all seem to think this is a 55+ community and complain about every little thing. My kids are afraid to go outside because they think they’ll get in trouble. I should have read the reviews!! They were all right. Increases the rent to drive you out. I came here to provide my children a safe place and a yard to play in. We weren't gettin that there. Manchester is looking better and that’s the last place I wanted to go! Don’t go there is you have children."

"I'm an educator who is moving to the area for a new job during the current school year. I submitted a $35 rental application here. This office insisted on "proof of my income" paperwork for NEXT school year, despite my explanation that the information is not available yet, and this is how public schools operate. So, I'm a professional who is going to relocate for work, to an employer who is NOT going to employ me next school year? This is ignorant management and a waste of my $35 application fee"

"The woman who runs the office is impossible to please. She acts as though this is her home and that the tenants must abide by her every rule. She lives in the complex and watches everything. Once she sees one thing she believes you shouldn't do she makes rules so that everyone has to do things by her book. It's become a real issue for us and unfortunately we cant just up and move as she has told me " if I dont like it then I shouldn't live here". If you have children and want to be able to parent them how you feel fit and have a clean safe place for them to play then I would avoid renting here if possible. The pictures on the website make this place look like a dream but it's not an accurate depiction. It is not worth the hassle!"

"Longley Place is the ideal setting for us to spend our retirement. The premisis are well maintained and the setting is beautiful, a wooded backyard, yet convenient to the Milford Oval. We love it here. It is truly home to us."
