"We grabbed a couple of sandwiches from this butcher store and deli, 1 Italian Grinder and 1 Turkey BLT. Both were pretty good, the meats are fresh and the service was good. Recommend for anyone exploring the picturesque neighborhood of Woodstock, VT, this fall (or anytime) looking for a quick bite."
"Back in town after being gone for a few years. Quite possibly the best corn chowder I've ever had in my 56 years on this planet. Seriously, it was sublime. While I knew the previous owners for decades and love them, the new owners have seriously stepped up the game for this Woodstock institution. Funky, upbeat atmosphere, Josh as always behind the counter asking how your day is going, the whole place is an absolute pleasure to visit. Chapeau."
"This Village hotspot makes great sandwiches and sells fresh salads, tasty baked goods, and an array of other products. The sandwiches are terrific, made with fresh ingredients on delicious Vermont-made bread. I'm a big fan of the BLTs and tuna salad. You'll also find fresh meats, a nicely chosen selection of wines, cheeses, drinks, and other condiments. Service is generally pretty fast, too -- and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful."
"First, Josh is extremely helpful and welcoming. This is a place where you quickly get on a first name basis and has us city folks yearning for a local butcher shop. They're not local to me, but they might just be my butcher shop. Came in for some cuts before heading home and took the opportunity to also get some jamón ibérico, Argentinian wine, dry rub, and sandwich along with our Delmonico ribeye and pork chop. Josh gave me some cooking recommendations. Ordered the roast beef sandwich which is prepared in house and it was nothing but quality. Can't wait to come back."
