"Tried purchasing a home listed by this office. Contacted them for a showing and was told offer deadline was the following day (Friday) at noon even though it had only been listed for 3 days. We were told they had 1 offer on it and it was definitely worth making the trip to see it. I was very interested in purchasing so I took work off the following day and made the 3.5 hour ride there to see it. The listing agent was great and answered all of our questions. I fell in love with it and immediately went to find wifi and submit my offer. We had the offer submitted before 11:00 and made our 3.5 hour ride back. We were anxiously waiting for a reply back on when we should expect an answer the whole ride home. We finally received our answer that the sellers decided to take 5 days to decide on offer because something personal came up. I was disappointed that I would not hear back for 5 days but I understood things happen that are our of our control. I decided to reach out the following day and seeing if there was anything I could do to make a deal even offering more money. I was told there was nothing I could do. Before ending our conversation I wanted to make sure they were still honoring the offer deadline that was set. Come to find out that deadline was not being honored and they started showing and accepting other offers. Fast forward 5 days later to the new offer deadline/deciding on offer day. Reached out to agent in the morning and they said sellers had not decided yet. 3:30 in the afternoon came around and we finally heard back from agent saying the sellers need even more time that they have to many offers to make a decision right now. Wanting nothing more than to pull my offer I still had hope that we could get this done. The next day came around and the listing agent informed us the sellers are pulling the house from the market and are no longer selling. Bottom line of this review is this office plays games. Save yourself the time and just look at other listings."
