"I scheduled an appointment for waxing at 9:30 am. I received a reminder for my appt with Archer Bodyworks at 9:30 am. I deleted the reminder from my messages, and when I showed up for my appointment, Rachel said in a very condescending, sicky, sweet way, "oh Sheila, I am so sorry. Your appointment was at 9:00 am. I'm going to have to charge you for the missed appointment and that will be for the full amount.". I apologized and said no I don't think that's accurate but unfortunately I had already deleted the reminder messages. I asked her if there was any way she could squeeze me in, and she said again in a really sicky sweet way no I'm sorry I don't have anything, and I'm going to have to ask you to pay for this missed appointment, the full charge of $75. I told her no that I would not be paying for a service that I didn't receive but she made me feel like I couldn't leave unless I paid. So I did give her $20 cash. I will never go back there again and I will never recommend them to anyone. I later found the deleted reminder message, and my appointment was indeed at 9:30 am. I NEVER make a habit of missing appointments or canceling appointments without plenty of notice, especially in the service industry, and the fact that she would not work with me is disgusting. I DO HOWEVER HIGHLY RECOMMEND STONEWORKS. THEIR SERVICES ARE AWESOME AND THEY ARE MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE THAN ARCHER BODY WORKS! This is my honest review."
