The Wash Shed

"I haven't used The Wash Shed for a while but my washing machine broke down so I returned. When it first opened machines were really kept clean.This time I noticed the inside rims of the doors were really dirty on some of the machines, dog hair? cat hair? I used a paper towel to try and wipe it clean but it really needed a good scrub. There was a lot of residual detergent in the rinse water but no second rinse option. I gather this is a problem with commercial washers where people use too much detergent. My clothes reeked of detergent and when I re rinsed some of my clothes in the sink, dog hair floated up in the water!! It is conveniently located and not busy during the week."

"Unforntunately picked a washer soap despencer did't empty, informed person there,he said will empty when time. All cycles finished and soap remained in dispencer. Wasted $5.50."

"A very clean and well kept place. It's not too busy on the weekdays, though it can happen. My overall experience has shown it to be the best around the Burlington area."

"Came here at opening time at 6, but was only able to get in around 6:30 as there is something off with the automatic door's timer. Still the best laundry in. 15 mile radius: spacious, plenty parking, never too busy in the morning, clean restroom."

"Clean, large machines available and smaller washers too. Coin-operated only and must use cash to exchange for quarters. No card option to exchange for coins or ability to use cards for machines. Customers seem to regularly be smoking literally at the doors, sometimes with the doors open which causes the entire place to reek of cigarettes as if someone smoked inside. Sort of makes the no smoking inside sign seem pointless to me if the entire place still reeks terribly. Considering doing the drive to Vergennes - heard it is cheaper and hopefully it doesn't give me a migraine every time I walk in due to cigarette smell."
