Val Roc Motel

"Had to make an emergency stop here after skiing at Killington because the roads were too icy. Was charged more than reviewers are claiming ($160) but I guess the late accomodation was the cause. Room was disgusting and the heater was broken causing us to have to sleep in our ski clothes. Many stains, cobwebs, and dust all over. Smelled old and of cigarettes. This place is only justifiable as a last minute resort at a cheap price. Come with very low expectations!"

"Had low expectations coming here because of the bad reviews. I thought it was going to be filthy and gross but it was actually decent. It’s wasn’t dirty and the beds were fine. The outlets weren’t working, electricity went off one night, there were no trash bags, and one roll of toilet paper. The room smelled like cigarettes. The website said there was a hot tub but there was no hot tub. There were 4 of us staying in a room with 2 queen beds. Apparently the room can only sleep 2 people which made no sense so the owner charged us 100 dollars extra because of the 2 “extra people.” He scammed us."

"This place is an absolute Dump!!! Don’t be fooled by the photos. There is no hot tub, it was frozen solid when we arrived. The rooms smell like mold and mildew. There was mold in the shower and horrible WI FI. Oh yea the hot water was anything but hot.. This place should literally be condemned. Don’t stay here. It’s a total waste of money. They refused tk even refund me after I told them about our issues. Disgusting. Owners should be ashamed."

"Do not stay at this hotel, my room was not only outdated but had a weird smell to it and the carpets had stains all over. The bathroom didn’t even look like it was cleaned before we arrived, the toilet was disgusting and there was hair in the bathroom the shower curtain was also disgusting and I had the worst shower of my life. The whole vibe was sketchy and other guest had told me “not to answer the door to anyone by the name of bob” as he was going around knocking on each door. This made me extremely uncomfortable and I did not feel safe after paying almost $300 it was a complete rip off"
