"Had a great stay at this hotel. Bed was pretty comfortable. No stairs, but knew that going in to the stay. The water did take a long time to heat, but it was sort of expected. Would definitely stay here again."
"What a great hotel. If you want new and fancy, this isn't your place. But if you want a historical place, with creaky floors, a true history, clean sheets and a place with a ton of character, this place is for you. I grew up 20 minutes from Thayers and never stayed there until I moved away and came back to visit. What a gem. As others have said, there is no elevator, so pack light. You'll need to climb a few stairs. About 17 up to the second floor, about the same to the third, and about the same to the fourth. We stayed in room 42, which is classified as a suite. It's basically a queen room and a king room, with a bathroom between the two. An interesting setup, but adequate for myself and my two teenage sons. I'd absolutely stay at Thayers again when in the area again."
"The location was good for the plan we had for the next day. The architecture is very beautiful. There is no elevator or water machine or possibility of buying water in the hotel. The service was good too. The only problem was that at 3am I was woken up by a very loud noise of a man screaming. Then at 4am and 5am it was worse. I don't know if it was a person who was staying or someone on the street, but everything was very loud from wall to wall and I couldn't rest at all."
"Room was comfortable with window unit in September. Mostly quiet small room with even smaller shower, Historic Inn! Continental break was really lacking choice of same pastry."
"Ideal location and reasonable pricing - this is where you want to stay in Littleton. Walking distance from Schilling, Dunkin Donuts, a laundromat, convenience stores, anything you need. The main disadvantage of this place is there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The bathroom unfortunately lacks an exhaust fan and it takes a while to get hot water on the upper floors and the building could use a booster pump because the pressure is a bit low as well. The beds were a bit too hard. Overall we were very glad we stayed here and pleased with our room. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful."
