"I thought that the teacher really didn’t know how to teach. He would spend 5 minutes talking about something superfluous, say, a lens we did not need, then 4 minutes explaining something very important, say, the entire idea of aperture. Then he would make off-topic remarks about his trip to Africa, then his grandkids, etc, for several minutes. When I told him I wasn’t getting anything out of the class, he refused to give me my money back, saying I would only have gotten a refund BEFORE I started the class and knew there was a problem."

"I've been a hobbyist photographer since I was young and always dreamed of becoming a professional photographer. Walter was incredible to work with. His sense of humor, professionalism, and expansive knowledge created such a wonderful learning space. This class was safe space to share my work and I felt encouraged and uplifted by comments from both Walter and the other students. After completing Photography 1, I now have the ability to take full control of my camera in manual mode. I never dared to take my camera off of automatic before this class. He clearly demonstrated his expertise in the field and had such a great way of explaining difficult concepts in an "easy to understand " way. I'm looking forward to continuing my journey at C1M Academy by joining the Photo Explorers on their monthly field trips and signing up for Photography 2."
