"We had such a fun time with Cheryl doing our guest house… Now we are moving on to our next project. Chalet Life is gorgeous!"
"I am an Interior designer in Boston, and find myself always making excuses to take trips to Stowe just to see what’s new in this store! Love Cheryl and everything we’ve purchased."
"The best interior design firm in the Northeast! We love Chalet Life and all the design help Cheryl has given us. 100% recommend for anyone looking to transform a room or home."
"My friends and I tried to visit this shop frequently during our 5 day visit to Stowe. We stopped by everyday at different times, called and left messages, to no avail. The shop was never open. The owner clearly showed up at some point as delivered packages were picked up, the porch decorations changed and all the light remained on. Update your website and information on your door to reflect accurate information. Fortunately, there were many other fabulous, reliable shops to spend our money at."
"I’ve been coming to Vermont to summer for the past 8 years, and this summer I was finally able to come into this shop. Not because I never have time to come by, but because it’s always closed. The hours posted are not consistent. That wasn’t an issue for me, but I did have an issue with how the owner greets you when you walk in. She didn’t seem very welcoming, almost dismissive which surprised me. She asked right away if I was a local, and once I responded she told me not to break anything. I understand the effects the pandemic has had on shops, and I wouldn’t knowingly walk into a store sick or disrupt a business on purpose by breaking items. The owner seems distrustful of anyone she doesn’t know and it doesn’t make for a great customer service experience."
