"Great place, popped on over after a hike and it knocked my socks off. I come from NJ and everyplace I've been too will have some dumb sign that says "World's best pancakes" and let me tell you, they're never the worlds best pancakes. The Rail Trail not only had the best pancake I've ever had, it might be the best pancake in the world. Also the sausage was really good. It's hard to find a better breakfast. 5 stars and I'd give it 6 if I could."
"We finally stopped over for breakfast this morning and I'm so glad we did. We had the exact "diner" experience I've been craving. Such a much needed addition to Poultney. The veggie omelet was the best omelet I've had in quite some time. Perfectly cooked home fries and classic buttered rye toast was the perfect accompaniment. The coffee is great, not too strong and not too weak/bitter. The atmosphere basically feels like the comfort of eating at home or a family members house but without the burden of having to cook. We will certainly be back again and again."
"(Ordered breaded chicken burger.) I was pleasantly surprised at the homey atmosphere and style, even if it was a bit cramped and loud inside due to the smaller rooms. The food was excellent (although it was a cheaper chicken patty, it was fresh veggies and a great roll), and the menu options were diverse, as well as a lower price than expected! The care visibly seen by the hosts made the experience one worth coming back for, as well as to sample some of their other options. It's a long drive, but if I'm ever coming by that way again, I'll stop by!"
