Reviews of Connecticut Valley Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine
"Muller, some of the records department staff, and some of the hospital management treated me very badly. I was lied to several times, by Muller and management. Doors were left open, violating my privacy rights, Muller would not go over my xrays, ultrasound, and MRI with me. Muller lied in my records and they are legal documents. Paperwork for my records release was filled out wrong by management. Case manager said I had to sign or I would not receive them to deliver to my next appointment at another facility and knew where it was to be delivered to, as well as the importance of having the correct information. Management and the records department also knew the records were specifically to be only about my right hand fingers injury and what was later found was other personal records that should have not been there. I was not treated properly and I truly believe many of my rights were violated; at Local, State, and Federal level. I do not recommend going to the Springfield VT hospital or their Connecticut Valley Orthopedics department."
"Can't say enough about how compassionate and qualified the staff and providers are at CVOSM. Dr Muller performed a rotator cuff repair on my husband years ago and he is still doing fantastic. (Tim saw him post op and his service was great). Dr. Muller and Cassie have been taking care of my 83 year old father. Had surgery by Dr Muller and follow ups with Cassie -Such great care all around. Thank you so much !"
"If I couldn’t add 1 star I would not have done so. How would anyone feel when they are told after you were checked in and in the waiting room for at least 5 min that you were not able to be seen because you were late and the doctor had a meeting he needed to attend. First of all I will accept that I was late for the 10:15 appt but called ahead letting them know I would be late and if it was ok. Their response was “ok as long as you are no later than 15 min. I arrive at the office just in time but had to wait at least 5 min for the person in front of me to be checked in. Let’s do the math. When anyone has an appt and no matter what time they are expected, the office ALWAYS has you waiting in the waiting room at least 10-15 min. So if I’m told that I have 15 min over my appt time, get the extra time allowed , get checked in , how am I late? Late enough for the office to use it as an excuse for the doctor to cancel for a meeting. If I were there in time., I would have still been in my appt. at the time they told me I had to reschedule. Was he going to cut my appt short to go to the meeting? Listen, I have had too many appts to list here with many medical facilities my experience with any time I was either late or as I did today, called ahead of time, I was still seen by the doctor. I would think with the reputation that Springfield hospital has, they would have at least taken the time to see me. I am always hearing by the public and some in the medical field, “ whatever you do don’t go to Springfield Hospital.” I have always responded with a positive experience and tried to change the mindset but now I understand! Rescheduling means another drive of 20mi one way , using gas that I shouldn’t have to use. They don’t understand that people have to travel a good distance to get there. Most are not just up the street! So to tell someone because they were late the doctor has a meeting he has to go to so he can’t see you,. Never again will I go there and I am now on the band wagon to tell anyone and everyone one I know to never go to Connecticut Vally Orthopedics. UPDATE . Revised to 3 stars. Reason being I was called the next day by the office manager and was given a huge apology. After a sincere conversation and adamantly told it should never have happened and will never happen again, I have decided to go back for another appt. I was given such a positive response I thought it is only fair that I give them another try. All who reads this , I hope you understand that I am not whining nor was I trying to get anything more than one deserves when they are in pain and have been referred to a specialist. I will post how the office will be responding to me, and the type of service received by the specialist. At this time I truly feel it was a one time action that will never happen again to me or anyone else."
"I can't say enough about how great they are! Dr. Muller is a fantastic surgeon and always makes me feel confident about his abilities and the outcomes. He has performed 3 different surgeries on me and each one was exactly how he said it would be. His staff is always friendly and are true professionals. From the initial consultation to follow up appts and PT, they took care of everything for me. Thank you all so much!"
"The only reason I am able to play guitar is these people. Very friendly, professional. Informative, answer any questions, and of course saw me through the recovery process. I'm often amazed that having suffered skier's thumb, I play music today as well and better than ever, and I am pain free."
