"The facility is fine and the Dr I saw is great! The lady at registration was rude when I came in for paperwork that had been dropped off the afternoon before for the doc to fill out. Then comes back and says they can’t find it… so had to go get another set and dropped it off that day. I was told it was all set shortly before closing because I called to check on it. I show up just after they opened the next morning and once again it can’t be found! Absolutely no excuse for this kind of thing to happen. Obviously they should have a folder or organization of some sort for people who need to pick up paperwork."

"Excellent medical care, excellent staff, beautiful (clean) facility. I am moving out of the Country and all the Internists I called in South County were scheduling six to eight weeks out. I went to see Dr Balerdi for a physical before my move. She was phenomenal. Before we even discussed my reasons for being there, she took her time to find out a little about me and the reasons for my visit. I thoroughly enjoyed her manner, she was genuinely interested in my story (and she even shared a little of her story that directly related to my life as an expat), and we had a great ten to fifteen minute chat before she looked me over. I would highly recommend Charlestown Urgent Care Medical even if it’s not urgent!!"

"Took them 3 months to receive my records. Another 3 months to get me scheduled. I showed up with my little family all by myself on time. Had to go grab a mask in the car because I forgot it and did not see any there, even though they say they have them. By the time she got me checked in, my daughter had to use the bathroom while we were waiting. The lady said she had to then cancel my appointment because the provider "was too booked". I drove 50 minutes round trip for my appointment to be cancelled on me. I called later on to make sure my insurance would not be receiving a bill for the appointment that never happened. I have yet to hear back from them! Not impressed at all. The providers that I've met there are all very nice and attentive."

"Although my experience was not with your facility it concerns me that you have a behaviorist that should be under the direction of a certified psychologist. I work in retail and when her order wasn't correct and I tried to mediate the situation she was irate, relentless and totally out of control.She continued to call multiple times and challenge me. She even told me what shes worth and how much she makes an hour. This woman is hostile, and if she is considered a specialist, then I could be one also because I can without a doubt consider her unstable. Just letting you know. I worry about people she's working with won't gain any stabilization in their own lives with her overshadowing them. She wants control and that is absolutely all."

"I appreciate the walk-in nature of the clinic. I appreciate the politeness of the staff. What I do not appreciate is the lack of transparency in billing. I purposely drove far to this clinic because its walk-in status warrants a low co-pay with my insurance. I paid this co-pay right then and there after receiving care and asked if I would get billed in the mail or if I was all set. The clerk said I was all set. Apparently, (1 hour of being on the phone later), Charlestown Health Center sends all its labs to Springfield Hospital...because it has the name "hospital," on top of the co-pay I already paid, I was charged later in the mail $150 -- the very cost I made sure to avoid. I got on the phone with my insurance because the amount they said I owed was less than the bill I got from Springfield...we were both confused. We then got on the phone with Springfield billing and the rep did not provide an idea for how to at least get a ball-park heads-up on what I will be charged at a future visit. She just said no one has any way of knowing, just ask the doctor if they will do labs...I pointed out that that wouldn't tell me anything still...after all, if the walk-in clerks and the health care providers wouldn't know how much of a co-pay that would be, how the heck would I know?? She said that I had a point. My insurance rep suggested I look into the codes for billing, which I agreed with, but when I brought up concern that calling my insurance to figure out my co-pay for a code in the middle of an urgent care (walk-in) visit would not be practical, I am serious: there was silence on the phone for 20 seconds and I thought the call dropped. My insurance rep asked if everyone was still there. I said yes I am and the Springfield rep, after a painfully long pause, just said "here." She just straight-up ignored me. Wow. My rep asked if I had any questions and I said, yes! The one I just asked! Then they both ignored me and he said anything I can help you with? And I said yes, the question I just asked! It's still unresolved so I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for an answer. Wow. Did this seriously just happen???? At least answer the question!"
