"I cannot say good enough things about this Health Center. Dr. Dege is number one in my book. It is a real blessing to finally find a doctor who cares about his patients and spends time to answer all questions asked not to mention seeing that one gets the correct medication.. Also Nancy is just precious. You will never find a voice with so much compassion and doing everything possible to ease one's anxiety and fears. The entire staff are just wonderful. After my horrible experience being hospitalized at CVM and Gifford I needed to find a real doctor and a competent staff. I found it here. I have had my fill of doctors who overfill their schedule so when an emergency does arise there is no room for that patient. In my opinion it is all about money. My husband and I have excellent medical insurance, but it doesn't mean much when we cannot get the care we want. No more crowded rooms, rude personnel and many mistakes both by the physicians and many, many from the people who take care of the administrative part of running the office. Thanks to everyone at the Danville Health Center you are the greatest. Janice White"
"I like the Danville Health Center just fine, but I wish it wasn't so dark ages about communications. You must call on the phone or you must fax to them. No e-mail is allowed. This is supposedly for security reasons. So what I do is write a note to my doc, print it out, and then hand-deliver it to the office. (I can't make fax work on my printer.) I dislike phoning because you can only talk to the nurses. I am pretty healthy for my age so it works for me, but if I had a serious condition I would really like to have e-mail."
"Dr. Stressenger had a family member of mine as a client, and she did many illegal things while he was in her care. My family member went in to get a cyst looked at and she told him it was possible cancer before making him get an MRI, ultrasound, and a biospy. When he went to his appointment for a biopsy (after having done the ultrasound and MRI scan) , the doctor informed him that the cyst was entirely benign and upon looking at the MRI and ultrasound he found that records showed there were never any signs of cancer or blood vessels in the cyst (contrary to what Stressenger had informed us). Not only had she lied about the results on his tests, but she also convinced my family member that he had possible cancer just to get money from his insurance from the extremely expensive tests and procedures. I do not reccomend ever seeking care from this facility, it is corrupt."
"I consider the Danville Health Center to be a real benefit to our community and I do not hesitate to call them first. The staff is caring and well trained. Dr. Tanner takes his time with me to address my concerns which I really appreciate."
"Sharon Fine is a joke of a Dr. We have been dealing with her for years, just for failures on her part. She doesn't care about her patients, just her own opinion and the sound of her own voice. I called her with an emergency, and she didn't even have the decency to call me back herself, talked with Ad Min. Seriously! Don't go there!"
