"This is my spot to go for good food and a beer or 3 after work."
"Ok, to be fair....this is a dive bar. The staff are awesome, the patrons are regulars and. ...there is karaoke on Friday nights( extensive song list!) I've never eaten any food here, but that is not to say it's bad, just untried."
"The first time I had eaten there, and when we first showed up, we were told to wait until after 8pm to order food because they were a bit overwhelmed. We really wanted to eat before then, but since we were staying for karaoke, we went with it. I go back up at 8:15 to order some food, and the lady behind the bar gave me this exasperated look and told me they just shut off the fryers. I told her that wasn't my problem because she told me to come back after 8. She held up her end and turned the fryers back on, and made our food. I guess I'm not going to eat there anymore. Love the weekly karaoke, and love the drinks though. It's a nice looking bar."
"Unassuming local watering hole with really awesome food! Had the Michigan burger , dogs and fries. Honestly one of the better meals I’ve had in a while! So good. Top notch, low key, great pricing. Pool table was nice and friendly folks too."
"This is exactly what I look for when it comes to dive bars. There is plenty of space, great seats at the bar, and comforting pub fairs. What catapults Park Place Tavern to 5 star status is their hometown feel. The name of the bartender is displayed for each shift. The owner’s daughter bartends and the I met the owner on my second visit there. We ordered a few drinks, a grilled cheese, party sampler, and some fried pickles. The food was well salted and not dry like other chicken tenders. Our bill was very reasonable, we were there for hours watching football, and I’m looking forward to coming back soon."
