"Great spot with both flat trails and some challenging climbs, but the view from the top is sweet! Bring your dog!"
"A Great dog friendly trail along beautiful Shelburne Bay (Lake Champlain). Graveled path up-to the dock. After the dock, it gets wet, slippery, muddy (we did go, the day after it rained) and rocky. I would recommend wearing appropriate hiking shoes if you are going to do the whole trail. Couple of picnic tables near the parking area. Great views of the lake!"
"Nice walking area. A little flat a small hill or two. Beautiful trail along the inside of Shelburne Bay out to the beach. Don't t come here though. I don't want it to get crowded! Haha.... Enjoy."
"Beautiful, peaceful, singletrack with some hills, through the trees and along a cliff paralleling the bay and then a nice wide, flat path along the back side of the loop...about a 3 mile loop. Today there were many icy spots on the track trail and I was grateful I had worn my microspikes."
"Lovely wooded park with a variety of trail terrain. About 2.5 miles to walk the outer loop, but it could have easily been longer if I had time to explore some of the off shoots and connecting paths. Very few people, great water access, beautiful views, and even a relatively short but pretty steep section that provided a nice little challenge with a good view. The first half of the big loop, the non lake side, is a flat packed gravel path thats very easy to walk and basically flat. The lake side is absolutely gorgeous but very steep with lots of roots and gravel, so wear appropriate shoes. Some of the steep section is very loose and it's easy to slide. The best view is not quite at the top, but it's gorgeous and worth the exertion. The inner trails offer many other options to explore. The parking lot is large, dogs on leash are welcome. Definitely recommended for an easy but beautiful hike near Burlington. Take a picnic (take out your trash) and enjoy an hour to an entire day."
