"Worst experience of my life Update: Wisdom tooth extraction, causing 9 years now of chronic pain. He was so dismissive of my complaints of post surgical pain, and was rather pompous about the entire situation. Please save yourself from an experience like this."
"Doctor is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. Absolute worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. This clown actually told me to shut up when expressing my concerns about post treatment."
"I recently had my wisdom teeth removed. I am in my 30s and they were impacted so I was definitely ready to get rid of them finally. I have extreme anxiety of any type of procedure and I also have paranoid schizophrenia and both the doctor and the nursing staff were very kind, patient and informative. My consultation went great. They made me feel very comfortable and I felt like I knew everything I needed to know about what was going to happen. The day of my surgery I was very nervous but the nurses did all they could to help me feel relaxed before I went to sleep. I just want to say thank you to everyone at maple view for helping me through this and my mouth is feeling great. It's been six days since they were removed and I'm already feeling better. I have a little more pain in my ear on one side so I'm going to call the office tomorrow and check in to see if it's normal and I have no doubt they will settle my nerves yet again. Thank you all!"
"I had a great experience with Scott and his staff. Very quick to get me in and very walked through everything with me. I ended up having a wisdom tooth root go around my nerve on either side, so I opted out of taking the entire tooth out. I was told my options very clearly, and that was the best route. I had a great recovery process and Scott even called to check in a couple times. The only small complaint I would have is that three nurses tried to get the IV in but couldn't. I don't blame them as the nurses at the hospital for a different surgery couldn't get it first try either. Scott came in and got my IV in a different spot. I have had a couple check up appointments, and they all have gone just as smoothly."
"Dr. Bowens a good surgeon and clearly knows what he's doing. Other than that my biggest complaint was his attitude, he's abrupt & hostile, the nurse wasn't any better, she clearly didn't know what she was doing. I wouldn't recommend to a friend and I wouldn't myself go back. I don't pay people to treat me with disrespect. Dr. Bowen needs an education on bedside manners. Also Teresa the receptionist was no better, she was difficult and argumentative and all I was trying to do is make an appointment for one extraction and she wanted me to jump through hoops, I told her I would find someone else and she hung up on me. I don't know what was worse the toothache or dealing with those people. Good luck to anyone else going to this practice to have their teeth extracted."
