"We had coverage with the Richards Group for 5 or so years. They were wonderful, very helpful, responsive. Unfortunately we left on a sour note. We traveled out of state for a few months, and had to make a more permanent move. When we contacted them to find out the process, as they were the listed agent, and according to Progressive, if we needed to change or cancel our policy the listed agent, would have to initiate the process and help us not have a laps in insurance. Instead they, backdated our cancelation document by 5 days and didn't bother to help guide us. We are perfectly capable of finding new insurance for our vehicle and rv. However, when Progressive requires your listed agent to initiate the process, and instead they send you cancelation documents when you reach out to see what the process is, and its backdated by 5 days.. leaving you to call your new insurance and explain over and over how your current insurance company was unsupportive and disobliging .. not super thrilled. We plan to return to Vermont in year or so, but we will absolutely never use the Richards Group/Co-op again."
