Reviews of Hudson Crossing Park
"Love the park! It’s so peaceful and such a good way to stroll around."
"A lovely spot for dog walking, historical information on signs about the American Revolution and more recent history. Great views of the upper Hudson River where you often see bald eagles."
"Hudson Crossing Park is a great little park that offers much to do! The park overlooks part of the Hudson River and Lock 5. There are picnic areas, canoe/kayak launch sites, areas to fish, gardens, hiking trails, art sculptures, and access to a working canal lock. The park is home to over two miles of well cared for hiking trails. These trails allow for great views of the Hudson, views of historic railroad bridges, a good look at the Northumberland Dam, and a chance to see some unique art sculptures tucked along the sides of the trails. You can also access the Dix Bridge which connects Saratoga County to Washington County. For those seeking a longer walk, the trails connect to the nearby Champlain Canalway Trail. There aren’t many short walks that offer so much! There is plenty of parking available at the park on most days. If you’re looking to launch a kayak there is a short carry from the parking lot to launch in the river. There are playgrounds in the park for kids. Without a doubt, the park offers the best recreational opportunities in the Schuylerville area. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed."
"Relaxing place to go for a walk along the river and locks. There are slides and activity areas for children."
