Best Dressed Laundromat

"I rarely need dry cleaning services but when i do, The Best Dressed Laundry is my go to. Well, no more. The staff is wonderful but the dry cleaning practice is beyond intolerable. I arrived with my 2 black, winter capes peppered with dog hair. I was informed that they may not be able to clean them and also, that if i did not respond to their call to pick them up that they would be donated. Both issued concerned me but i hoped for the best. Two weeks later, I went in to pick them up and was shocked when i was told that the fee was $70!! Apparently, they employ slave labor to, meticulously, remove the hair with tweezers. Long since gone are the days of predictable rates for dry cleaning. Now, you are at their mercy without any forewarning. I paid the ransom and walked away. Be advised that dry cleaning may not be the best option. Maybe consider buying new clothing or just leave all rescues to fend for themselves or make sure their fur matches the color of your clothing. Good luck. Quick note, the North St laundry is clean, quiet, great machines. Attendant not always there but rarely needed and bathroom locked since Covid hit.. still, the bwst laundromar ans i have experienced all of the lical ones."

"I do like to go there to do my laundry. The only thing I would suggest is that they have. The out was the better or that they were open 24hrs. That would be even better."

"Went early on a warm Saturday morning. There was no air conditioning and it was miserable. It was made even worse by older equipment that had the dirtiest soap dispensers I've ever seen, and some of the washers were so dirty that they left a smell on my clothes that I had to go someplace else to rewash. The floors were sticky and didn't look like they had been mopped in a long time, it was overpriced and there was no attendant. I gave it 2 stars only because the other people washing their clothes were really nice but had the same opinions that I did about the facility and said they only went there because it was close to their home. I think this place can do better and I hope they clean it up!"

"Been doing my laundry here for about a month now. I have never seen an attendant there and the bathroom is always locked. I have my son with me sometimes and we end up having to go to the pizza place to use the bathroom where I then feel obligated to buy something..."

"Yeah sure there are some new washing machines but the dryers almost ALWAYS have lint in them and the floors are always filthy. Whomever comes in to clean they just go into the office and stay for 6 minutes and leave. If you need help with something no one is ever there. Forget about having to need to use the bathroom there. That is only locked for the employees."
