"We LOVE Teddy’s Babershop! Everyone there is so welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Justin is so amazing with kiddos. We took our son to see him for his first cut at 2 and now he is about to be 4! It took him awhile to get comfortable, lots of tears in the beginning but with Justin’s help and patience, he is now a pro. We highly recommend Teddy’s!!"

"Great place. Book AND pay online. They were running ahead of schedule and I was in and out looking good in 30 minutes. I'm not a guy who gets his hair cut professionally often due to the 10,000 questions asked, and my hair still usually turns out differently than requested. Here they did exactly as I asked and checked in ma y times throughout the cut. Definitely worth a trip."

"Let me tell you about Teddy’s barbershop. I dropped in here randomly one day a couple years back where I had my hair cut by the eponymous Teddy, who was a couple days away from retirement as it worked out. Haircut was good, staff was New England ‘friendly’, and the scene was a throwback to a different time in Americana’s history. Next time I went in I made a reservation and picked Justin, more or less at random. The haircut I got from Justin was even better than the one from Teddy, had a great time chatting, other folks in the shop chimed in here and there and we did the same. Incidentally ended up getting a reference to a great limo company owned by his family, LA Limo, for my wedding in the middle of nowhere, but that’s neither here nor there. Now I don’t leave a ton of reviews, and if that was the highlight of my experience at Teddy’s I probably wouldn’t have bothered even though it was a place I recommended if haircuts came up. But after that, fast forward a year, and my 3 year old son is in desperate need of a haircut. Mom had taken him to 4 different places, each of which was able to get a few minutes of cutting in before the kiddo melted down and the situation became unmanageable. I wasn’t present at these occasions but they were all well regarded, kid friendly affairs, with toys and games and stylists accustomed to working with young kids. I decided to give Justin and Teddy’s a shot. I booked two adult haircuts to make sure there would be as much time as might be needed instead of the lower priced men’s and child haircuts. They texted me to make sure I’d intended to do so and I confirmed and explained the situation in my response. Linc (my son) was nervous coming in - Teddy’s has no toys and no games and their seats are shaped like chairs instead of ponies and racecars, but I had him sit on the long bench in the back of the shop and watch me get my hair cut so he could see that there was nothing to be afraid of. When he became curious enough to move closer Justin was enormously patient with him, showed him all his tools, explained that nothing here was going to hurt him, etc. When it was Lincoln’s turn in the hot seat, Justin went through it again, again explaining that all of his tools were just tools to make him look good. He said ‘Lincoln, I promise you that nothing here will hurt you today’ to which my son responded ‘you promise?’ and when Justin confirmed a third time he became visibly more comfortable. After that it was smooth sailing for the duration of the cut, Lincoln beamingly happy with the results. The other stylists were just as patient and friendly as Justin as were the patrons, none of whom acted like a kindergarten teacher with him. Not that there is anything at all wrong with that kind of kindness, but the New England ‘friendly’, which is to say earnest to the point of gruff, I believe helped in creating the situation where he felt comfortable and steady, instead of being taught a lesson with all eyes on him. One of the fella’s in a way. Afterwards Justin nixed my reservation of two adult haircuts and replaced it with one men’s and one child which shaved off a few bucks from the total that he did not at all need to. After we left the shop Linc must have bragged 50 times to anyone who’d listen about what nice hair he and daddy have and how much fun it was and how brave he was. I just booked our next appointment and it brought it all back to mind so wanted to share and give credit. Great joint, old school professionalism, great cuts, could not recommend more highly."

"Had our second great experience with Justin to get my 1-1/2 year old’s hair cut. Justin’s patience, professional skill and his ability to create a comfortable experience for my son was why we returned for his 2nd cut. Scheduling online was easy - on time too. Great environment and highly recommend kids cuts with Justin!"
