"Do not buy this merino if you value your money. I received this wool as a gift and have had it for less than a year. I was super happy with it until I washed it once (wore it about 15 times archery hunting as a base layer). I followed the care instructions and when I pulled the shirt out of the washer it was full of holes. I feared that I did something wrong and since I have the mid weight pants did not want to repeat the same mistake. The company could not warranty it because I do not have a receipt, which I understand. However they asked for some information and blamed the damage on moth or beetles with what was provided. It was never stored, guess that I have beetles living in my washer LOL. As you know, if you are reading this, merino is not cheap. It should last more than one washing when following the care instructions. If you want a quality product look elsewhere."
