Commodores Inn,

"I have to agree with the review from Corey. Inn is in great need of updates. Carpets are worn and stained. Wallpaper in room was peeling. Block of wood nailed to the wall to hold the light switch in place. Room was not clean , very dusty and grimy.Found hair in the shower drain that did not belong to either one of us. Spending close to 200$ for one night was so not worth it. Pictures are very deceiving, they make it look great and worth the price until you get in there. If I hadn't driven 3 hours to get there I would have definitely asked for my money back and left."

"Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Commodores Inn. First, when you walk in, you enter a cozy lobby. There are multiple couches to relax on. There are games available to play. Checking in was seamless. I was informed to my surprise there was an indoor pool! An added bonus for sure. This hotel allows dogs to stay in the rooms with their owners. This meant the difference for us between camping and staying there. Thank God they allowed it because the last night it rained the whole time and we would have been miserable. Comfy beds...fridge in room. Ate at the penalty box (restaurant). Try the Fried pickles! Delicious! Overall great experience!"

"A really quaint and nice place. Friendly staff. My only issue was with the advertised breakfast. Mind you, it was advertised through a third party. They had dunkin' donuts, bagels, cereal, and fruit. My expectations (and they are mine, lol) were for a hot breakfast. It's all good, though. I'd stay again if we're in this area!"

"If you’re looking for a place to sleep and nothing else at a relatively to the area dirt cheap price, this is it. On the outside it looks like a well kept hotel but looks can be deceiving. The inside was incredibly dated and dirty. They had a bar but we weren’t able to make it. Our room was, how do I put it, gross? The wall paper was peeling from the walls and there were divots in them. Also, our room had no way to control the temperature as it was incredibly warm. Stopped by the front desk, he was pleasant (sincerely mean that), and he told me to open the window. The window had no screen and opened up to the parking lot. We had a first floor room so I had to shut the window/oven door before we went back to sleep. Our TV worked too well. Once we turned it on, we couldn’t turn it off-literally we tried everything and it turned off once we unplugged the TV. Everything was covered in a coat of dust and grime. The extremely well worn pillows also have hard plastic tags that protect the zippers but make it uncomfortable to sleep on. Finally, the light switch in the bathroom occasionally worked. Overall, I’d spend a couple extra bucks to stay else where. I’d describe the Commodore Inn as a shop without its Captain."

"Staff is friendly and accommodating. The room rate was reasonable. The location is on Rt 100, and many attractions are a short drive. Pools, sauna, and hottubs are clean and well kept. The free continental breakfast is good for a quick bite before getting out to see the sites."
