"First off, I want to start with the fact that Alyssa and Amanda far exceeded my expectations for them for my wedding day. We had an early start and they showed up on time ready to kick butt. They had a game plan and were ahead of schedule all day. Alyssa’s ability to make every single one of my girls feel beautiful, regardless of their hair was fantastic to watch, as the bride. She made sure everyone loved their hair and was comfortable for the day. Amanda was also fantastic with the makeup. She took the necessary time with each girl to create a masterpiece. And listened to each girl with any concerns they may have. These two made my day kick off flawlessly and I was so happy to have them take care of me. I strongly recommend them for hair and makeup services! They are wonderful."

"I booked Elite Hair Studio for my wedding back in October in New Jersey. The first red flag was them calling me from the airport for a ride because they did not want to pay for a rideshare. I accommodated them, but unfortunately the rest of my day was thrown off-schedule and I was late to my rehearsal. I initially wanted makeup to start at 7:00 A.M. the following day, but based on their recommendation I changed it to 9:00 A.M. Their estimate to get hair and makeup done for the whole bridal party was three hours, and it took them five. I have yet to get answers on how the schedule got so off track, but I can say that Alyssa and Deirdre were completely unprepared, unorganized, and unprofessional. Their primary concern once getting into the room was getting music set up, they told stories of how they were forced to leave the hotel bar the night prior due to almost getting in a fight, they took phone calls, and they complained about taking rideshares to buy other supplies they did not have. I also supplied them with things they did not have, for example dry shampoo. Within my contract with Elite Hair Studio for the services was a travel fee due to my wedding being offsite. Due to their constant complaints and the fact they contacted me to avoid using a rideshare, I do not understand what my travel fee actually covered. In regards to the hair and makeup services, I got all of my bridesmaids to agree to the same makeup style, with potential variation for it to not be as bold if they did not want the eyeliner for example. This was done to ensure that Alyssa and Deirdre could be as efficient as possible and allow ample time for photos. Not one bridesmaid had the makeup that was agreed upon nor did any of the bridesmaids match. With Alyssa’s encouragement, my bridesmaids moved away from that style. This was not her decision to make, and I would not be surprised if it contributed to the schedule being so far off track. Due to their lack of preparation and organization, I did not get photos with my mother or father during the getting ready phase, I was late to my wedding, and they kept trying to stop me on the way out the door to say they have no idea what happened and asking how my bridesmaids were going to tip them. At this point in time, I was already disappointed as the terms of the contract were not met and I was not pleased with their behavior, especially them asking about their tips when they did not do a satisfactory job. Given the fact they traveled to provide services, I extended an invite to the wedding reception to both Alyssa and Deirdre. While there, they showed a complete and utter lack of professionalism with infighting, inappropriate comments to guests, inappropriate phone calls in a public space, and upsetting many of my guests. While I understand they were not working at the time of the reception, there is still a certain air of professionalism one should maintain when attending an event that was connected to a job. It is my understanding they were asked to leave multiple times and Alyssa kept approaching more people in an attempt to gain support, but really just amplified the number of guests that were affected. I do not have a single message from Alyssa, nor did I write to Alyssa, saying all was good with the salon. Alyssa opted to go through a bridesmaid she made a connection with, a conversation my bridesmaid should not have entertained as she had no power to excuse the actions and unprofessionalism of Alyssa and Deirdre. I was the client, the contract was in my name, and any discussions regarding the day and what went wrong, should have been addressed to me. I have allowed ample time for that to happen, even called and left a voicemail, to never be acknowledged. No one has taken accountability and I am completely unsatisfied with my experience."

"In October, my daughter hired Elite Hair Studio, specifically Alyssa and Deirdre, for wedding hair and makeup services for her, me (the mother of the bride), and the bridesmaids in NJ. Regrettably, our experience with Elite Hair Studio was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share our disappointing encounter to caution potential customers. To begin with, upon their arrival in NJ, Alyssa and Deirdre contacted my daughter for a ride as they wanted to avoid paying for a ride service. This unexpected and unprofessional request set the tone for the rest of the experience. One of the most alarming aspects of the service was Alyssa taking phone calls while doing hair services. This disrupted the atmosphere and indicated a need for more dedication to the task at hand. Alyssa and Deirdre failed to meet the agreed timelines. The entire process was delayed, causing unnecessary stress and anxiety as we were already on a tight schedule. Furthermore, it was clear that the duo needed to be fully tuned in to the customer's needs, as they failed to recognize my emotional state during a crucial moment when they were applying my makeup. Unfortunately, my makeup was done last, leaving me unprepared to assist my daughter in getting dressed, sharing important moments, or participating in planned photos. Instead of focusing on the situation's urgency, they made inappropriate comments, showing a lack of sensitivity to the emotional significance of the day. I strongly caution future customers considering Elite Hair Studio to thoroughly assess the professionalism and commitment of the team assigned to them. It is imperative to ensure that agreed-upon timelines are met, that the stylists are fully dedicated to the service without distractions, and that the final results align with the expectations set during consultations. My experience with Elite Hair Studio disappointed me on what should have been a joyous occasion. I urge individuals to choose their wedding vendors wisely and remain vigilant for any signs of unprofessionalism before committing."
